Lief's first morning of getting his own breakfast.
He heads straight for the pantry, where we've placed the cereal on a shelf that he can reach. He carefully pours a bowlful of milk, then gingerly floats his flakes individually on top. There is no room for the spoon and raisins are out of the question.
It is one of the greatest moments of his life.
