Goethe get some order around here

I once visited the home of Goethe in Weimar and remember being impressed by the orderliness of his study. I know it's a museum and someone is paid to tidy up, but still, the overall impression was "Ach, so. Hier is ein well organized person." No one would make that mistake if they were fool enough to pop their head into my writing lair. Here's some of what's here:

junky yellow daffodil vase
17 photos of smoochie
bag of alphabet pretzels
stuffed dragon, bunny, dog--refugees from the nursery next door
4 pairs of open-toed sandals
two ammo tubes of vintage disney posters
a large (empty0 wooden box
stickers of the planets
The Observation Deck
finger painting easel
three clay pots of pencils and paper clips
some nails
Winston Churchill's complete works (unopened)
an exclusive offer on a Beltone Hearing Aid
a poem about Women's Lib typewritten by my Grandmother in 1975
Bundle of cancelled checks from 2003
small Swingline stapler
Mars 2006 edition of the Quebec Chatelaine
3 photos of my friend's cat
The Golden Age of Anglo Saxon Art
Spectrum Guide to Ethiopia
The Secret Life of Santa Claus

I think I need to sit quietly and look at this list and try to figure out what it says about me. If there were perhaps a bottle gin on the desk the picture would be that much clearer. . . .
